Keith Curtis

Founder, President

Keith Curtis, president and CEO of The Curtis Group, has nearly 30 years of experience in all aspects of fundraising and nonprofit management, leading a firm that has raised hundreds of millions of dollars for its clients.

Keith’s proven expertise includes fundraising planning studies, board and volunteer training, strategic planning, campaign management, annual giving, and endowment programs. A dynamic and motivational speaker, he is a frequent presenter for the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Virginia Fund Raising Institute, and Academy for Nonprofit Excellence.

Keith conducts volunteer and staff leadership training and workshops on a variety of topics. His commitment to philanthropy is also evident through his role as treasurer of the Giving USA Foundation, board member of the Giving Institute (formerly the American Association of Fund Raising Counsel) and as past-president of the Hampton Roads Gift Planning Council.  He has also co-chaired Giving USA Foundation’s Resource Development Committee and at the request of his Giving Institute colleagues, co-chaired the organization’s 2011 Summer Symposium.
