Nancy Chapman

Communications Director

Nancy Chapman is has worked in the communications field since 1984. She is an award-winning researcher, writer, and creative talent who develops and produces successful communications strategies and fundraising marketing materials for our clients.

Nancy has worked with The Curtis Group since 2000. Prior to that she gained experience as senior copywriter with Summit Advertising, editor-in-chief for Port Folio Weekly, editor and publisher of The Fort Mill Times in South Carolina, and media relations supervisor for Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority (NRHA). During her five-year tenure at Port Folio, the publication won more awards than it had in its prior 13-year history. The Fort Mill Times received first place in general excellence from the South Carolina Press Association under Nancy’s leadership. And NRHA won its first national communications honors as the result of Nancy’s abilities.

Nancy serves the community as a board member and volunteer with Park Place Child Life Center in Norfolk and as a member of the marketing committee for Tidewater Arts Outreach.
