Building Excellence Grant Winners Announced

Congratulations to the four nonprofits selected for the 2010 Building Excellence Development Capacity Building Grants from the Hampton Roads Community Foundation.

Each organization will receive 18 months of consulting from The Curtis Group designed to enhance their long-range development programs.

The 2010 recipients are: 
- ACCESS AIDS Care, which fights AIDS in Hampton Roads
- Armed Services YMCA, which helps junior enlisted military personnel and their families in Hampton Roads
- Places & Programs for Children/Children’s Harbor, which provides early care and education for children in Hampton Roads
- Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts, which supports performing and visual arts in Suffolk

This is the third year the foundation has awarded Building Excellence grants to nonprofits working in its initiative priority areas.
