With nearly 30 years of experience in nonprofit management, Deborah specializes in building philanthropy programs from the ground up, engaging key stakeholders, developing high-performing teams, and successfully closing unprecedented capital campaigns.

Over the past 25 years, Deborah has held leadership roles as Chief Development Officer at both Aspen Valley Health Foundation and Northern Dutchess Hospital Foundation, where she spearheaded innovative fundraising initiatives that set new standards for success. Her diverse experience equips her to guide clients in navigating complex challenges and achieving their development objectives.

Adding to her unique skill set, Deborah holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, providing her with a strong foundation in nonprofit financial management, budgeting, interpreting financial statements, and creating meaningful metrics that guide strategy. She is particularly committed to helping nonprofits understand the need for transparency and navigate the complexities of operating in an ever-evolving environment.

Deborah has had the privilege of serving as a guest lecturer at various conferences, workshops and classes, where she enjoys sharing her knowledge and insights from her extensive experience in the nonprofit sector. She is always willing to make herself available to colleagues seeking advice, serving as a supportive mentor to those around her.

Residing on the Outer Banks of North Carolina with her husband, Mark, and their two dogs, Deborah treasures her family time with her daughters, Olivia and Chloe, which fuels her ongoing commitment to making a positive difference in the world.
