Associate Consultant
Driven by curiosity and the belief that fundraising is both a science and an art, Lacey brings a thoughtful approach to helping nonprofits achieve meaningful engagement and sustainable impact.
As an Associate Consultant with The Curtis Group, she partners with clients on campaign planning and assessments to strengthen fundraising capacity, positioning organizations for long-term success. With more than a decade of nonprofit experience, Lacey has deep knowledge of donor relationship building and operationalizing systems that support effective fundraising.
Prior to joining The Curtis Group, Lacey served as President of United Way of Alamance County in Burlington, North Carolina, where she led fundraising, community partnerships and strategic initiatives focused on improving local impact. Her previous fundraising experience includes roles with Cone Health and CHC: Creating Healthier Communities, where she managed portfolios of annual donors and advanced corporate engagement strategies.
Lacey holds a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in nonprofit management from Syracuse University and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), reflecting her commitment to professional excellence and ethical fundraising practices.
Now based in Louisa, Virginia, Lacey volunteers with the Louisa Education Foundation. In her free time, she enjoys exploring festivals, attending concerts, trying new restaurants, crafting and tackling DIY home projects.
