Consultant

For Lauren Greene, her work is about connection: connecting donors with their passions, nonprofits with the resources they need, and leaders with the possibilities they can achieve. As a consultant with The Curtis Group, Lauren helps her clients focus on their potential without losing sight of their day-to-day needs. She leverages her past experiences to support her clients through planning studies, campaigns, and development assessments. Ranging from Education to Human Services and Arts, Culture & Humanities, Lauren has worked with a wide variety of non-profit clients and has helped them successfully raise millions of dollars.

Prior to joining The Curtis Group, Lauren worked at the Muscarelle Museum of Art in Williamsburg, Virginia. During her tenure at the museum, she managed donor engagement events, supported board development, managed research requests, and created communication materials. She has also held positions at the Thomas Jefferson Foundation, Montpelier Foundation, and Culzean Castle, National Trust for Scotland.

Lauren holds a Master’s from the University of Glasgow and a Bachelor of Arts from the College of William and Mary. She is a Virginia Caucus Representative and board member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals-Hampton Roads chapter and serves on the sponsorship committee for the Virginia Fund Raising Institute. Outside of work, Lauren serves on the WHRO Emerging Leaders Board and enjoys running, exploring historic sites and museums, and spending time with her friends and family.
