Lauren Greene

For Lauren Greene, her work is about connection: connecting donors with the causes that inspire them, nonprofits with the resources they need to grow and leaders with the possibilities they can achieve. As a consultant with The Curtis Group, Lauren partners with clients to navigate complex fundraising efforts while balancing ambitious long-term goals with the realities of day-to-day operations. Known for her collaborative and relationship-driven approach, Lauren works closely with nonprofit leaders, boards and campaign volunteers to develop fundraising strategies, strengthen donor engagement and guide organizations through periods of growth and transformation. Her experience spans a wide variety of sectors, including education, human services, and arts, culture and humanities, helping organizations secure millions of dollars in philanthropic support.

Prior to joining The Curtis Group, Lauren worked at the Muscarelle Museum of Art, where she supported donor engagement, board relations, collections research and institutional communications. She has also held positions at the Thomas Jefferson Foundation, Montpelier Foundation and National Trust for Scotland at Culzean Castle. These experiences deepened her appreciation for mission-driven organizations focused on history, education, culture, and public engagement.

Lauren earned her master’s from the University of Glasgow and her Bachelor of Arts from the College of William and Mary. She currently serves as a Virginia Caucus Representative and board member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Hampton Roads chapter and is a member of the sponsorship committee for the Virginia Fund Raising Institute. Outside of her professional work, Lauren serves on the WHRO Next Gen Collective Board and enjoys running, exploring historic sites and museums, and spending time with her friends and family.
