Our team had a fantastic month celebrating at a number of National Philanthropy Day events in Norfolk, Richmond and Charlottesville. The honorees at each event were truly deserving of the recognition. It is always a wonderful reminder of the important role that philanthropy plays in strengthening our society.
Keith spoke eloquently of how we can all be better philanthropists. He summed it up in his opening remarks at the luncheon in Norfolk when he said “being a philanthropist isn’t about the amount of money contributed, but the deed performed by generous giving.”
We were joined by current and past clients and friends from The Center in Charlottesville, Poplar Forest in Lynchburg, Library of Virginia Foundation, John Tyler Community College in Chester, Virginia Home for Boys and Girls in Richmond, and Northstar Academy in Richmond
