The Curtis Group Welcomes Lacey Dabbs as Associate Consultant
March 18, 2026 — The Curtis Group, a national leader in nonprofit fundraising consulting, is pleased to announce that Lacey Dabbs has joined the firm as an Associate Consultant. In this role, Dabbs will partner with nonprofit organizations on campaign planning and assessments,
helping to strengthen fundraising capacity and position organizations for long-term success.
Dabbs brings more than a decade of nonprofit leadership and fundraising experience, with a strong focus on donor relationships, strategic partnerships and organizational effectiveness. She most recently served as President of United Way of Alamance County, where she oversaw
fundraising, community partnerships and strategic initiatives to enhance local impact. Her previous experience includes development and engagement roles with Cone Health and CHC: Creating Healthier Communities, where she managed donor portfolios, advanced corporate engagement strategies and helped drive successful fundraising initiatives.

Dabbs holds a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in nonprofit management from Syracuse University and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), reflecting her commitment to professional excellence and ethical fundraising practices. Now based in Louisa, Virginia, she is actively engaged in her community and currently volunteers with the Louisa Education Foundation.
