“The problem isn’t that donors are tired of giving. The problem is that they are tired of being repeatedly asked for support without being engaged, informed and educated about the impact of their previous donation.

How can I prove that donor fatigue is a myth? The biggest marker is in “Giving USA 2020: The Annual Report on Philanthropy for the Year 2019″ that was released a few weeks ago. For 65 years, this report has provided comprehensive charitable giving data across the United States. Each year, this report has confirmed that Americans are incredibly generous people. This year’s report showed that Americans continued this trajectory, contributing $449.64 billion to charity. This was a record-breaking number on the heels of a decade of unprecedented growth in giving.”
